Mr. Dayal commenced as Chief Executive Asia on 5 January 2009. He is responsible for leading BlueScope Steel's businesses in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Company's joint venture with Tata Steel in India. Prior to joining BlueScope Steel, Mr Dayal was General Manager, Manufacturing and Supply Chain for Orica Mining Services where he managed its Asia division. Mr. Hemant M. Nerurkar has been Executive Director of India and South East Asia of Tata Steel Limited since April 9, 2009 and Managing Director since October 01, 2009.
A B. Tech in metallurgical engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune University, Mr. Nerurkar has attended several management courses in India and overseas, including CEDEP in France. He is associated with several professional organisations, such as Indian Institute of Metals, INSDAG and AIMA Governing Council among others.
Mr. Nerurkar joined Tata Steel on February 1, 1982 and has held various positions including Chief Metallurgist, Senior Deputy Manager (LD-2 Projects), deputy general manager (Steel & Primary Mills), General Manager (Marketing), Senior General Manager (Supply Chain) and Chief Operating Officer (Steel). He has over 35 years of experience in steel industry in various functions. Mr. Nerurkar is an executive with multifaceted experience ranging from project execution, manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Chain and Marketing. He became the Vice President (Flat Products) in November 2002 and in September 2007 was appointed Chief Operating Officer (Steel).
Mr. Nerurkar is a unique motivational leader with capabilities beyond compare. He instills confidence in his subordinates and mentors them to reach excellence. He has a natural flair for nurturing and cultivating innovation and out of box thinking. He has keen business acumen in identifying new business opportunities for accelerated growth. A family man at heart, his personal life is governed by strong family values.
During his illustrious career, Mr. Nerurkar has been conferred with several prestigious awards such as the 'Tata Gold Medal 2004', 'SMS Demag Excellence Award 2002', Steel 80s Award - 1990', 'SAIL Gold Medal - 1989' Visveswaraya Award - 1988' and 'NMD Award 1987'.

Mr. Anand Sen was born on 17th September 1959. He graduated in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 1981and pursued a Postgraduate Diploma Course in Business Management from IIM Kolkata in the year 1987.
Mr. Anand Sen started his career as Graduate Trainee at Tata Steel in the year 1981 and worked in Scientific Services initially. In early 1984, he was selected as Application Engineer and was posted to Mumbai. In July 2001 he was placed as Chief of Marketing & Sales - Flat Products. Mr. Sen has remained Vice President, TQM and Flat Products Division before being appointed Vice President, TQM & Shared Services from 1st April, 2010.
Mr Sen's achievements in the metallurgical field include establishment of supplies of high-end cold rolled coils. He has also facilitated import substitution of automotive steel and has helped Tata Steel to achieve source approvals for supplies to auto majors. Mr Sen has been involved in the development of wide width galvanised corrugated sheet, dent resistant steel and auto applications like skin panels and high tensile steels in the company. He also played a pivotal role in the development of galvanised material for the automotive industry. He has spearheaded the redesigning of the distribution philosophy of Tata Steel leading to increased market share in the steel roofing segment. Mr Anand Sen has contributed in many technical papers and journals. Mr Sen was awarded the Essar Gold Medal in 2004 at Indian Institute of Metals. He is also an active member of many academic bodies including the executive committee of Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata Chapter, International Iron & Steel Institute Packaging Committee, Project Review Committee of Institute for Steel Development and Growth and also the IIM National Committee for resource mobilisation |

Mr. Atul Gogna is the Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Bluescope Asia. In this role, he is directly responsible for all strategy and marketing activities for midstream as well as downstream business in Asia. Prior to this he headed Strategy & Business Development for Alcoa Asia Pac and Alcoa Architectural Products, which included significant acquisition work in China and India. Prior to that, he worked for 4 years for Boston Consulting Group doing strategy consulting for various Industrial and Oil & Gas clients in India, China and ASEAN. Before that he spent 6 years in Indonesia working for Asia Pulp & Paper, one of the largest paper companies in the world. There he was responsible for Sales & Marketing and General Management of a $100Mn specialty coated paper business. Atul is an Indian citizen with Engineering and Business Administration degrees. He is currently based in Singapore with his wife and two teenage daughters.

Mr. Elias joined BlueScope Steel as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in March 2008. He is responsible for finance, treasury, taxation, supply, investor relations, investments, audit and insurance. Prior to this, he was CFO and Director for Linfox Group and CFO, Director and General Manager Strategy and Business Development for TXU Australia. He began his career with Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Consultant. Mr. Elias is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |

Mr. Sanjib Nanda is the Chief (Finance Transformation Project and Financial Markets) for Tata Steel Group’s Finance Function and Currently leads the Finance Transformation Project with an objective of creating a “best in class” globally integrated finance function across .He also heads the Treasury Function & Capital Markets for Tata Steel Limited.
Sanjib Joined Tata Steel in 1991 in the Export Finance function. He was then deputed to Singapore and served as Regional Manager (South East Asia) and looked after the international marketing and sales function for 4 years .On his return from Singapore he headed the world wide Steel Trading Business of Tata Steel for 6 years. Subsequently he spend two years in Corporate Strategy & M&A function of Tata Steel in Jamshedpur as Chief Business Opportunities and was involved in formulation of corporate strategy ,acquisitions and finalization of various joint ventures .In 2008 he moved to the Group Finance function in Mumbai and headed the Corporate finance and banking function .
Sanjib serves in the board of some of the new ventures of Tata Steel ,eg Gopalpur Special Economic Zone Limited , Tata-NYK India (Pvt) Limited, Tata Steel International India, Tata Steel Cote d’Ivore and Tata Bluescope Steel Limited.
Prior to joining Tata Steel he worked with M/s A F Fergusons and Company (Currently part of Deloitte Haskins & Sells ) for three years.
Born on 28th August 1964 in State of Orissa ,India ,Sanjib holds a degree of Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India . He is married and lives in Mumbai with his spouse two sons. He spends his leisure time with his family & friends and enjoys playing cricket and occasional cooking .

Mr. Harish Pathak is a graduate in Metallurgical Engg from IIT, Bombay. He has attended Management Programs at prestigious Business Schools such as IIM Ahmedabad and INSEAD, France.
Mr. Harish Pathak joined Tata BlueScope Steel limited as Managing Director with effect from August 1st , 2008. Prior to joining Tata BlueScope Steel, Mr. Pathak was Executive-in-Charge (Profit Centre Chief) of the Wires Profit Centre of Tata Steel based in Mumbai, Mr. Harish Pathak brings with him a rich experience of more than two decades in various fields such as sales, marketing, operations and project management. |
